We are here to help you navigate your healing journey through the support and guidance you need. To ensure a smooth and efficient process, here is what you need to know about our L&I Referrals Program:

Step 1: Initial Contact
● Before completing any forms, please reach out to us to confirm our availability for new clients. We want to ensure we have an opening before you invest time filling out paperwork.

Step 2: Understanding Our Services
We offer two main services under the L&I Referrals Program: Mental Health Services and Behavioral Health Intervention (BHI) Services.
Mental Health Services
● For clients with an Accepted Mental Health Condition: Your attending physician needs to submit a referral to the L&I Claim Manager for utilization review and prior authorization.
● Authorization Needed: We must receive an authorization letter from your L&I Claim Manager before we can start treatment.

2. Behavioral Health Intervention (BHI) Services
● Referral Only: Your attending physician’s referral is required, but prior authorization from the L&I Claim Manager is not needed. ● Limited Sessions: The BHI program provides up to 16 visits per claim, focusing on short-term, solution-based counseling to address recovery barriers and support your return to work. ● Eligibility: This program is not suitable for those with or disputing a mental health diagnosis related to their injury on the claim.

Step 3: Next Steps
● Once we confirm our ability to accept you as a client, we will send you the L&I Referral Form.
