Meet Carmen Benway, Owner and Director

Hello! I’m Carmen Benway, LMHC, the Owner and Director of Seattle Neurocounseling PLLC. As both the founder and the visionary behind our clinic, I wear many hats, balancing clinical leadership, operational management, and client care to ensure that Seattle Neurocounseling provides exceptional mental health services to our community. My passion is to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for clients and our clinical team, making mental health care accessible, personalized, and impactful.
With a background in counseling psychology and years of experience working with diverse populations, I bring a comprehensive understanding of clinical practices, team development, and client-centered care. I oversee daily operations, direct our clinical programs, and work closely with our talented team to ensure that every client’s journey is supported with the highest quality of care.
Areas of Expertise and Focus as Director
• Clinical Leadership: Overseeing therapeutic services, maintaining high standards for clinical care, and supporting our team in delivering compassionate, evidence-based treatment.• Operations Management: Managing administrative processes, workflow optimization, and strategic planning for the clinic’s growth and sustainability.• Staff Development: Providing supervision, training, and mentorship to our therapists, interns, and administrative team.• Client and Community Advocacy: Ensuring that our clinic remains accessible, inclusive, and attuned to the diverse needs of our clients.• Innovation and Growth: Implementing systems that enhance client experience, streamline operations, and expand our clinic’s reach.
Whether guiding our team, working directly with clients, or managing the behind-the-scenes operations, my mission is to lead Seattle Neurocounseling with integrity, compassion, and a commitment to excellence. I’m proud to be part of this journey alongside our clients and staff, and I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the mental health field

Meet Aira Vallesfino Office Administrator & Project Manager

Hello! I’m Aira Vallesfino, the Office Administrator and Project Manager at Seattle Neurocounseling PLLC. Originally from the Philippines, I bring a mix of organization, efficiency, and warmth to my role, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. I manage day-to-day operations, coordinate projects, and support our team with administrative tasks to create a seamless and welcoming experience for everyone who connects with us.
In my role, I handle scheduling, client inquiries, and oversee various projects that help improve our clinic’s services. My goal is to make the process of seeking support as straightforward and stress-free as possible, allowing clients to focus on their mental health journey.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my teenage daughter and exploring new places to eat—we’re always on the hunt for delicious food! I’m dedicated to ensuring that every interaction is a positive one, and I’m always available to offer a friendly, helpful hand.
