Mental Health Child and Youth Counselor (Evening Availability) – Vancouver, Washington

Seattle Neurocounseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Counselor to join our growing team in Vancouver, WA. We specialize in providing mental health services to children, youth, and their families, and are looking for a professional with a strong passion for helping young individuals overcome emotional and behavioral challenges.

Position Overview:
As a Child and Youth Counselor, you will provide therapeutic services to clients ranging from elementary age through adolescence. You will work closely with families and school systems to support the overall well-being of the children you serve. Due to school schedules, some evening availability is required.

Compensation & Benefits:
●  W2 Employee Position: Competitive pay between $60-$70 per session for fully licensed counselors.●  Full-Time Benefits: Healthcare, dental, and vision insurance available for full-time employees (defined as 24 active clients per week or more).●  Flexible scheduling options with a hybrid model. Due to the nature of school scheduling, this will require some evening availability.●  Opportunities for professional growth and development.●  Contract Opportunities: We also offer contract positions for self-employed counselors who prefer to work with us on a contractual basis. Key Responsibilities:
●  Provide individual counseling for children and adolescents facing challenges such as trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.●  Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.●  Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with state and agency guidelines.●  Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development.●  Maintain evening availability to meet with school-aged clients.

Qualifications:
●  Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field.●  Licensed in Washington as an LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or Associate-level counselor with supervision (Washington and/or Oregon license preferred).●  Experience working with children, youth, and families in a therapeutic setting.●  Strong communication and organizational skills.●  Evening availability is required for this position.
