Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate

Supervised by Sanaz Amini

I’ve always been a counselor at heart, it’s who I’ve been since I was very young. My passion for this work is deeply personal. I’ve gone through my own mental health struggles and healing, which has shaped my desire to show up for others in the ways I both needed and experienced.
I am passionate about helping people break free from the things that weigh them down or keep them feeling stuck and disconnected from their purpose.
I strive to be a steady, supportive presence, a compassionate listener who walks alongside you through the healing process.
It is deeply meaningful to be part of someone’s journey, especially in the moments where they share the parts of themselves they’ve kept hidden. I value witnessing my clients heal, grow, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.

Therapeutic Approach

I create a supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences openly and at their own pace. My approach is rooted in Rogerian Person-Centered Therapy, creating a space where you can better understand yourself and what you’re going through.
I also integrate CBT, Existential Therapy, and Schema Therapy, tailoring each session to fit the unique needs of the individual. I take a gentle, collaborative approach, working alongside clients to set meaningful goals and support their growth.
I measure success in therapy through the progress my clients experience over time. Often, clients don’t realize how much progress they’ve made until it’s reflected back to them. We honor all progress—big or small—as meaningful steps forward.

I gently integrate additional approaches based on your unique needs, ensuring our work together feels personal and meaningful. Therapy is collaborative—we work together to create goals that feel right for you.

I take a compassionate, gentle approach, meeting you where you are and supporting you at your own pace.

A Little About Me

Outside of my work, I enjoy organizing, spending time with family, and reading—simple things that help me stay grounded and present.
My personal journey and faith have also been a meaningful part of my life and healing. One verse that reflects this is:
“He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire; He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.”— Psalm 40:2
