Therapeutic Approach

Megan believes that therapy should be a respectful, empowering space where clients can identify what matters most to them and move toward those values at their own pace. Her approach is rooted in compassion, patience, and adaptability—especially for individuals who may have unique sensory or communication needs. She emphasizes rapport-building and emotional safety as foundational elements of the therapeutic relationship. Her work is guided by a belief that healing and growth are most possible when clients feel seen, heard, and validated. With a warm and flexible style, she aims to create a space where neurodiverse clients in particular can thrive.
“Rapport doesn't happen overnight, and trust is earned. My goal is to show up consistently in ways that prioritize your emotional safety and promote nervous system regulation.”

What Clients Can Expect

In her work as a BCBA, Megan has focused on helping teens and adults with autism establish meaningful goals and develop practical, values-aligned strategies for living. She is continuously expanding her therapeutic toolkit to support emotional processing, anxiety, depression, and regulation needs.
Megan is committed to ongoing education in cultural humility and anti-oppressive practices. She has received training in cultural competency and brings an informed awareness of systemic barriers, ableism, racism, and colonized perspectives in therapy. This learning is central to her evolving practice.
