Meet Sanaz Amini, LMHC – Clinical Supervisor

Hello, I’m Sanaz Amini, LMHC, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Supervisor at Seattle Neurocounseling PLLC in Kirkland, WA. With over a decade of experience and a strong foundation in counseling psychology, I am dedicated to supporting counseling interns as they build their skills, confidence, and professional identities. As a supervisor, I create a collaborative, growth-oriented environment where interns can explore complex cases, refine therapeutic techniques, and develop a strong foundation for ethical, client-centered practice.
In supervision, I integrate evidence-based practices—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches—to guide interns in offering effective, individualized care. I’m passionate about fostering cultural sensitivity, ethical awareness, and the practical skills necessary for success in the field.
