Meet Kristen Atwood, LMHC – Clinical Supervisor

Hello, I’m Kristen Atwood, LMHC, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Supervisor at Seattle Neurocounseling PLLC in Vancouver, WA. With a passion for fostering growth and professional development, I provide supervision and guidance to interns and new clinicians, helping them build confidence, enhance their skills, and develop a strong foundation for their careers in mental health.
I bring a collaborative, client-centered approach to supervision, encouraging open dialogue, self-reflection, and continuous learning. My experience spans a variety of settings, allowing me to draw from multiple therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, trauma-informed care, and more. I aim to equip interns with the tools they need to deliver effective, empathetic care while also supporting them in navigating ethical considerations and clinical challenges.
